The Human Rights Union (HRU) is advocating to raise the standard of living by ratifying and protecting the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution. As poverty effects approximately 90 million in the United States, it is hard to see the difference between slavery and non-living wages between citizenship and indentured servitude. It’s time for a higher standard of living!
Poverty is defined as the state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or means of support; condition of being poor. In other words, poverty is not having access to basic needs. And the Human Rights Union believes that all persons have a human right to basic needs adequate for healthy living regardless of the economy.
Therefore, the Human Rights Union is advocating for the protection of our Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendment by proposing ratification, to correct a systemic lack of humanity as evidenced by poverty and inequality. The Human Rights Union believes man, woman, and child have an inalienable human right to basic needs adequate for healthy living regardless of the economy.
We the citizens, in order to form a more balanced accord, establish the Human Rights Union (HRU), to promote human rights, to provide basic needs, and to protect the blessings of life. The articles set forth are intended to outline the objectives of the Human Rights Union (HRU):
All persons have a Human Right to Basic Needs adequate for healthy living regardless of the economy.
Human Rights are the inalienable rights to resources and activities associated with the procurement, production, and consumption of basic needs adequate for healthy living.
Basic Needs are essential elements that encourage life and posterity including but not limited to food, clothing, shelter, healthcare, education, defense, and environment.
The purpose of the Human Rights Union is to protect human rights as guaranteed under the Thirteenth and Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution.
